Professor of Classics
I'm interested in ancient Mediterranean religions and ancient Greek culture and religion. My fascination with distant past was sparked while I roamed as a kid with my best friends through catacombs, tunnels, Roman ruins and an occasional church crypt in my hometown. Occasionally I'd get into trouble, but me and my friends thought it was worth it for the joy of discovery and all the excitement we felt. In my classroom, I like to share some of the excitement I felt as a kid and turned into my profession. The study of past is like a mirror of Galadriel: studying antiquity will open new vistas for you as you will acquire a deep and meaningful understanding of what it meant to be human few millennia ago, who you are, and you will also start thinking about the things that have not yet come to pass. I'm excited to follow you and lead you on that quest.
