Amy Chan

I am an abstract painter whose curiosity branches into many artistic disciplines. I teach introductory courses in Drawing, Painting and Foundations. I believe that being an artist has helped me to find alternate paths in life and ultimately know myself more fully. Daily work that has always been normal to me, such as drawing and observation, feel a little rarer in today’s world. I hope to share these foundational creative practices in my Engagements course, while helping students get comfortable with risk and creative thinking.
